This place has real panache!

I recently dined at the Gran View Restaurant near Ogdensburg, NY. This place is a sure thing for just about any type of dining you have in mind. It has an extensive menu from casual to formal dining, and the prices are reasonable.

Best French onion soup ever!

We ordered a fabulous ceaser salad, prepared at our table side by our skilled and personable server.  The French onion soup is always a satisfying start to start any meal. I ordered mine with no croutons. I thoroughly enjoyed my entree of coconut crusted salmon with a double side of grilled asperagus, cooked to perfection. To complete the meal, I sampled the pumpkin cream broule with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream and a cup of coffee.

The Gran View is a true gem of the region, and I plan to return here as often as I can.
